Beginner Sewing Lessons - Level 1 Beginner - Cost: $175

Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Got a sewing machine that's been collecting dust because you're secretly a little afraid of it? Don't worry - we're going to change that!

This course is for the total beginner - no experience needed.

We'll cover the basics (yes, even the "where's the on switch?" kind of basics), and along the way you'll learn tricks that will make sewing fell way less intimidating. Together we'll work on fun, beginner-friendly projects that are both cute and practical - you'll be shocked at how quickly you'll be saying "I made this!"

Our classes for beginners are kept small and cozy so you'll have lots of support and personal attention. We'll go step by step, no rushing, no skipping- just a relaxed creative vibe where mistakes are welcome (and often turn into the best discoveries).

By the end, you'll walk away not only with cute finished projects, but also the confidence to keep sewing on your own.

During these 4 weeks, you'll learn the foundations of sewing step by step. First we will get you comfortable with your sewing machine, understand the tools, fabrics and basic techniques needed. We will practice stitches, seams, and finishing touches, all while completing beginner friendly projects to make sure you feel confident and proud that you made them. 

From Day 1-3, we will include your fabric for projects we create during class, on Day 4 you will be responsible to shop for your fabric for our last project, learning fabric and getting to shop for it is all a part of the process as well. 

What To Bring:

- Your sewing machine (must be in good working order) + power cord & foot pedal.

- A basic sewing kit.

What’s in a basic sewing kit?

A pair of sharp fabric scissors, rotary cutter, small thread snipping scissors, straight pins & a pin cushion (or clips if you prefer), seam ripper, a spool of neutral thread, extra bobbins (specific to your machine), safety pins, extra needles (universal & stretch), ruler, notebook & pen.

Cancellation Policy:

Life happens - we get it! But here’s how cancelations work:

• Cancel 14 days or more before your workshop? You’ll receive a store credit for 75% of the workshop fee.
• Cancel with less that 14 days notice? Unfortunately, we can’t offer a credit or refund.
• No-shows (without notice) also aren’t eligible for a refund or credit - so please be sure you can make it before signing up.
• If we need to cancel a workshop for any reason, you’ll get a full refund of your workshop fee.
